Hurst Hills PTA needs your help. First, we are collecting the following items for the district food pantry. Cereal, oatmeal and cereal bars will go to help people in the district in need. Secondly, Reflections, a PTA sponsored art and music program, needs a Hurst Hills representative to run the event at our school.
The PTA will send out packets soon containing info about membership and volunteering. Please start to think how you can help out to make your child's school an even better place to be. We would love to have new faces come lend a smile aiding teachers, the librarian and/or helping at some of our special events for this year. Keep checking back for updates on events coming throughout the year.
Kroger is sponsoring bonus boxtop thru Sept.8. With a Kroger shopper's card, purchase 4 boxtop products. Kroger will add 10 bonus boxtops. Purchase 8 products, the bonus is 25 boxtops from Kroger. Hurst Hills PTA is focusing on 4C's this year... Community, Communicate, Connect and Celebrate. We hope to get a lot of new volunteer involvement with several special events coming up this year. We will need many coordinators for these events, the first of which is our annual carnival in November. Work would start soon organizing the carnival, if interested, please contact Karen Hopper at

BOX TOPS!!!!
Turn in your Box Tops before the end of the school year
so they don’t expire over the summer, but don’t stop there! Shop and collect
Box Tops throughout the summer, turning them in when school begins next
year.It will be amazing to see
how many Box Tops we can collect over the summer months.Good luck and keep up the GREAT work!
A big thanks to Dottie Hopper for coordinating Box Tops, reaching new levels of
success each semester.
The
Nominating Committee of the Hurst Hills PTA,
selected by the General Membership of the PTA, has met as set forth in the
bylaws and made the following nominations for Officers for the Hurst Hills PTA
for the 2010-2011 school year:
?They want to know who just won an award, got the highest
grade in class, or was a finalist in a competition for the school year! Perhaps
it's an award or honor received outside of school. They want to know about all of
the achievements earned by HEB ISD students and staff! Do you know a winner
that should be added to this list? http://www.hebisd.edu/news/winnerlist.asp
